England beat Croatia 4-2 in their thrilling World Cup opener in Dallas on Wednesday, with a high intensity second half driving them to victory. Harry Kane scored twice and is in wonderful form, while Tuchel appears to have England's players believing the best form of defense is offense to paper over any concerns at the back. They certainly have enough attacking talents to haunt most teams and Jude Bellingham is getting back to his best.

Carlos Queiroz has only been in charge of Ghana for a few games but he was extremely emotional as he celebrated their last-gasp win against Panama in Toronto in their Group L opener. Ghana are very dangerous on the counter and Antoine Semenyo is their star, as the African giants will sit deep and look to pick England off on the break.

England team news, focus

The Three Lions will likely make a couple of changes with Marcus Rashford coming in for Anthony Gordon on the left and Bukayo Saka could be fit to start after Noni Madueke stepped in for the Croatia game on the right. Marc Guehi may also start at center back to help improve the mistakes at the back which cost them a couple of goals against Croatia.

Ghana team news, focus

It will be a very solid 4-4-1-1 formation for Ghana with Semenyo and Fatawu likely to start out wide and Thomas-Asante and Sulemana jostling for the attacking midfield position to support veteran striker Jordan Ayew. Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare came on at half time against Panama for the injured Ati-Zigi and is likely to start this game.

England vs Ghana prediction

This feels like it's going to be a very chippy, scrappy game but England's extra quality off the bench will make the difference in the second half. England 3-1 Ghana.
