Balogun transfer: latest updates amid Serie A interest
The Athletic reports that the 24-year-old favours a transfer after the World Cup and that the French club is seeking a fee in the region of €50m.
According to the report, there are “plenty of suitors” for the American striker from all over Europe, including the English Premier League and Serie A.

The 24-year-old striker was already linked with a move to Serie A in 2023, when he ultimately left Arsenal for Monaco. Back then, Inter were among the clubs interested in securing his services.
Balogun scored 19 goals in 43 appearances with Monaco in the 2025-26 campaign. His contract expires in 2028, and according to the report, there have not been negotiations regarding a potential extension.
Balogun has scored two goals and provided one assist in the USMNT’s opening two games at the 2026 World Cup.
