Who are the BBC commentators, pundits and presenters for France vs Iraq?

France will look to build on an impressive opening World Cup victory over Senegal by booking their place in the knockout rounds on Monday.

A Kylian Mbappe brace helped the 1998 and 2018 champions see off the Africans last week and another three points will be enough to ensure France's safe passage into the round of 32.

For Iraq, playing in their second tournament following their 1986 tilt, it will be a case of dusting themselves down following their opening 4-1 defeat to Norway.

The game is set to kick off at 4pm local time (10pm UK time) at the Philadelphia Stadium in the USA.

The BBC will be broadcasting this game live in the UK on BBC One, with this the second game of a mouthwatering double-header on the Beeb, following Argentina's Group J clash with Austria.

The coverage for the France vs Iraq clash will be helmed by Match of the Day co-presenter Kelly Cates, who will be joined in the studio by three former Premier League and international players.

Olivier Giroud was usurped as France's all-time leading scorer by Kylian Mbappe when the Real Madrid man netted twice against Senegal, and the former Arsenal and Chelsea man will again be on call to run the rule over his former international team-mates.

Offering a defensive take on matters will be another ex-Arsenal and France star in Gael Clichy.

The 40-year-old earned 20 caps for his country and won the Premier League three times during his time at Arsenal and then Manchester City.

The final member of the BBC's in-studio punditry line-up is another ex-City man in Joe Hart, who turned out 75 times for England, playing at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.

Up in the Philadelphia Stadium commentary box will be Steve Wilson, who has been a regular fixture on the BBC since the end of the 1990s.

He will be joined on the gantry by former Liverpool, Aston Villa and Leeds United left-back Stephen Warnock.

The 44-year-old earned two England caps during his career and went to the 2010 World Cup squad, but did not feature.
