Reports in Italy claim that Milan are interested in a potential deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Goncalo Ramos and that there is interest from the MLS in Santiago Gimenez, which could help the Rossoneri to raise the required funds to land the Portuguese striker.

Could Milan replace Gimenez with Goncalo Ramos?

Transfer rumours continue to circulate around Milan despite their lack of a sporting or technical director. Ruben Amorim has recently been appointed as head coach and a number of his compatriots and former Sporting CP players have already been linked with a move to San Siro, including the likes of Morten Hjulmand and Francisco Trincao

According to reports from the Corriere dello Sport, PSG striker Goncalo Ramos is the latest name to be added to the Rossoneri wishlist.

Milan are expected to reshuffle their attacking department this summer: Former head coach Massimiliano Allegri deployed a 3-5-2 during the 2025-26 season while Amorim is expected to deploy his trusted 3-4-2-1 and with Rafael Leao highly likely to leave the club during the window, a restructure is almost certainly required.

Ramos is a player that Milan had looked at signing last summer, before ultimately landing on the purchase of Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea.

PSG spent a fee of €65m plus up to €15m in add-ons to sign Ramos from Benfica in the summer of 2023, and Sunday’s reports from the Corriere dello Sport claim that an offer of €40m could be enough to convince PSG into selling this summer.

Meanwhile, Sunday’s reports claim that Milan’s Gimenez will not be central to Amorim’s plans next season and that he will be allowed to leave if an appropriate offer comes in.

Reports elsewhere claim that MLS outfit Orlando City are keen to add the Mexico international to their ranks this summer, and that they could be prepared to go as high as €26m ($30m) to land the former Feyenoord striker this summer.

Calciomercato claims that Orlando are willing to offer Gimenez a salary in the of €4.6m plus significant bonuses, which would reportedly double the earnings that he currently takes home in Milan.
