Reports in Italy claim that Antonio Conte is emerging as a strong candidate for the Italy job along with Roberto Mancini, but who would you pick between the two?

Conte and Mancini are currently the frontrunners for the Italy job, according to reports in Italy.

Conte or Mancini as next Italy coach?

Several sources reported over the last few days that Mancini was close to getting the job for the second time, with informal talks already underway with Giovanni Malagò, who was elected as the FIGC President yesterday.

According to fresh reports from Gazzetta and Corriere della Sera, Conte is also under consideration by the Chief of the Italian Football Association.

However, any final decision will be made in collaboration with the technical director, a position that Malagò is eager to assign to Paolo Maldini, who has already received an offer.

Italian media have mentioned other candidates for the job in recent months, including Pep Guardiola, yet Conte and Mancini seem to be the top choices at the moment.
