Bergvall asks to leave Tottenham

Sweden midfielder Lucas Bergvall has asked to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer. The 20-year-old, who is currently with his country at the World Cup, has made the club aware of his wish to leave Spurs in search for a fresh start and concerns over regular first-team football.

Bergvall only played 112 minutes of football under Roberto De Zerbi, starting one of the Italian's six games in charge and featuring mainly as a substitute.
