Reports in Italy claim that Turkish giants Besiktas are making moves to steal Dusan Vlahovic away from Juventus and are prepared to offer the Serbian a ‘double-digit’ salary, a hefty signing bonus and a reunion with his Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italiano.

As things stand, Vlahovic will walk away from Juventus on a free transfer at the end of June. The 26-year-old is out of contract despite his status as one of the division’s most expensive signings of all time and being the most expensive January signing in the history of Serie A.

Juventus have made several attempts to tie Vlahovic down to a new deal over the course of the 2025-26 season, and according to recent reports, have tabled one final offer of a one-year contract with wages worth €8m per season, a reduction from the €12m that he earned during the season just gone.

Meanwhile, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Turkish giants Besiktas are now making moves to convince Vlahovic to leave Juventus this summer.

The latest reports claim that Besiktas are prepared to offer Vlahovic a salary of €10m per season, a signing bonus of €5m and a reunion with former Fiorentina head coach Italiano, under whom Vlahovic scored 17 league goals in 21 games in the first half of the 2021-22 season, the most productive run of form in the striker’s career to date.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Vlahovic is taking his time to come to a decision as he is not fully convinced by the idea of moving to Turkiye at the stage of his career.

The Pink Paper suggests that Vlahovic and his entourage are still holding out for an offer from one of Europe’s most prestigious clubs, on the Barcelona, Atletico Madrid or Bayern Munich tier.
