Ayyoub Bouaddi’s name is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
The Lille midfielder has been one of the standout young performers at the World Cup and his displays have not gone unnoticed among Europe’s elite clubs.
Notably, Real Madrid are among the teams paying particularly close attention.
The Spanish giants have been following the teenager’s progress throughout the tournament, with club representatives recently present to assess him firsthand during Morocco’s 1-0 win over Scotland.

The latest scouting mission came during Morocco’s clash against Scotland in Boston, where Bouaddi completed the full 90 minutes and played a central role in his side’s hard-fought 1-0 victory.
Club observers focused heavily on his contribution throughout the match, continuing a trend that began after his eye-catching display against Brazil earlier in the tournament.
Mention of a starting fee
As interest continues to rise, so too does the expected cost of a potential transfer.
In fact, according to Mundo Deportivo, any deal for Bouaddi could currently require an investment of around €40 million.
Notably, while that figure remains manageable for several top European clubs, it may not stay at that level for long if the midfielder continues to impress during the latter stages of the competition.

Despite an active summer that has already brought several high-profile arrivals, it must be remembered that Real Madrid remain attentive to opportunities that could strengthen the squad further.
One area still under evaluation is central midfield.
The club continue searching for players capable of improving build-up play and controlling matches from deeper areas, qualities that Bouaddi has consistently displayed throughout the tournament.
For now, though, Real Madrid have not made any official move as they know his price will increase as the World Cup moves on.
