Barcelona forward’s camp responds to injury fears, personal problems and Saudi Arabia rumours

Barcelona and Brazil have received a major boost after fresh information emerged regarding Raphinha’s injury situation and long-term future at the Catalan club.

The Brazilian winger has been the subject of intense discussion in recent days following his injury setback at the World Cup

It must be remembered that concerns surrounding the severity of the problem, coupled with reports linking him to a possible move away from Barcelona and speculation about personal issues, generated significant uncertainty around the player.

However, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, those closest to Raphinha have now moved to calm the situation, insisting there is no reason for alarm regarding either his fitness or his future.

Raphinha’s injury less serious than first feared

The Barcelona forward is currently focused on recovering from the injury that temporarily halted his World Cup campaign with Brazil.

Initial reports raised concerns that the issue could keep him sidelined for an extended period, potentially ending his participation in the tournament.

However, the player’s entourage has now provided a far more encouraging update.

According to those close to the winger, the issue is “minor,” while making it clear that there is no concern about long-term consequences.

The current expectation is that Raphinha could return within approximately two weeks

Such a timeline would potentially allow him to feature again if Brazil progress to the latter stages of the competition.

Family dismisses transfer rumours and personal issues

Alongside the injury concerns, Raphinha has recently found himself at the centre of speculation linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Reports suggested financial considerations and personal circumstances could influence the player’s future, but his family has strongly rejected those claims.

Addressing rumours of a possible departure, his entourage told the newspaper,

“Regarding his departure, there’s nothing to worry about. He’s focused on the national team and very happy at Barcelona.”

The player’s representatives also dismissed reports suggesting personal or family difficulties.

According to those close to Raphinha, no internal crisis, and the stories circulating in recent days bear no resemblance to reality.

“His wife, his son, his parents, and his brother are all together in the United States,” they said.
