Felix Nmecha shone on his FIFA World Cup debut as Germany brushed aside Curaçao, and the Borussia Dortmund midfielder is gaining many admirers. According to a report from Bild, Real Madrid are monitoring the player’s situation.
The 25-year-old arrived at Dortmund for €30m in 2023 after Jude Bellingham’s departure and after a difficult start to life at the Signal Iduna Park outfit, the appointment of Niko Kovač has elevated the German’s game.
Nmecha, who signed a contract extension in March 2026 until 2030, is valued at €50m and earns a reported €10m salary, plus bonuses. Although indispensable to BVB, the tenacious midfielder is available for €80m in 2027, and €70m in 2028, due to the player’s exit clause. Additionally, Sky Germany confirm Bild’s report of Real Madrid’s interest, further noting that the returning Jose Mourinho is a fan of the midfielder.
