Wayne Rooney felt it was "a bit strange" that Luke Shaw was again overlooked by England boss Thomas Tuchel as he sought injury cover for Tino Livramento. The Newcastle full-back's World Cup dream was ended before it began and it left the Three Lions needing to fill a spot in their squad - which has gone to Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah. The versatile defender has got the nod despite a number of other options being available. One of those was Shaw, who has been a stalwart for England at previous major tournaments, starting and scoring in finals.
