“Listen, the weather like everywhere has been beautiful here in Suffolk, and I’ll be honest with you, I’ve been very lazy, I’ve done nothing.
“The odd little walk out and stuff like that, but I’m getting there, I’m getting better and obviously with the football, and the golf, the [US] Open, all sorts going on, it’s great!
“It’s a great time if you’re not working, to be watching sport on telly, it’s brilliant!
“We’ve got Wimbledon coming up, the [British] Grand Prix coming up, so I can’t whinge, I’m very lucky, I’m very happy.”
Brazil added: “After the operation I had, I’m struggling to sleep, so it’s [watching Scotland] is perfect for me!
“Normally I’d be saying, ‘I can’t wait until 1am [to sleep],’ and now I can’t wait for it!”

As for his planned return, the legendary talkSPORT presenter is hoping to be back on air before the end of the summer.
Later in the show, Brazil remarked: “I’m hoping maybe end of July/August, I’m hoping to be back.
“There’s one or two little issues I’ve got still, I’m down at Cambridge and they’re trying to find… there’s a slight – not worry – but there’s just something not right.
“And they’re working on it, trying to find out what it is, it’s basically fluid which keeps coming back.
“And there’s a reason for it, and as of yet, we can’t find it, and it’s not me drinking because that’s gone.
“But they’ve been brilliant, looked after me fantastic, it’s a wonderful place, overworked, understaffed, underfunded, we know that.
“And when you see it first-hand, it’s frightening, they do an unbelievable job, so I’m in good hands.
“And I will be back soon to pester you two [Hawksbee and Jacobs].”
