Barcelona have no intention of parting ways with Raphinha this summer despite renewed speculation surrounding the Brazilian forward’s future.

The Barcelona winger has once again found himself at the centre of transfer rumours after claims emerged suggesting he could consider a move to Saudi Arabia. 

However, according to MARCA, neither the player nor his representatives have informed Barcelona of any desire to leave, while the club itself remains committed to keeping the Brazilian at Spotify Camp Nou.

As things stand, Barcelona view Raphinha as an important part of Hansi Flick’s project and are not entertaining the possibility of a sale.

Barcelona receive no indication from Raphinha

The latest Raphinha transfer rumours have created plenty of noise, but within the club, Barcelona are relaxed about the situation.

It is said that club officials have not been informed of any financial issues involving the player, nor have they received any indication that Raphinha, who is currently out injured, is considering a departure from Barcelona.

Notably, Barcelona are approaching the situation with caution but also with confidence because there has been no communication from the player or his entourage suggesting a transfer could be on the cards.

That situation is particularly crucial given the growing number of reports linking the Brazilian international with Saudi Pro League clubs.

While interest from Saudi Arabia does exist, Barcelona’s position remains unchanged. 

The club is not actively looking to sell Raphinha and continues to see him as a valuable member of the squad heading into the new season.

Raphinha’s future became a major talking point after former Brazil international Vampeta claimed the Barcelona forward was experiencing financial difficulties and could therefore be tempted by a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

However, Raphinha’s entourage has denied those claims, while Barcelona have no evidence suggesting the situation described by Vampeta is accurate.

More importantly, the player has not informed Barcelona of any desire to leave.

That remains the key factor because the club has consistently maintained that Raphinha will only leave if he personally requests a transfer. 

And at this stage, there is no indication that such a conversation has taken place.
