Premier League and Manchester United fans will see a very familiar face on the touchline when England take on Ghana in the World Cup.
That is because Carlos Queiroz is the manager of the Africa nation.
Queiroz has a very long and storied managerial careerGettyThe 73-year-old has been on the managerial scene since 1982 and has been charge of both domestic clubs and international sides.
He has also served as an assistant manager and is known for a lengthy spell at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson.
His Ghana side take on England, live on talkSPORT, in Boston tonight.
Who has Carlos Queiroz managed?
Queiroz’s first job as a manager came with Belenenses’ youth side before a transfer to work for Estoril as their assistant manager.
Then came a long stint with the country he grew up in – Portugal.
From 1984 to 1993, the current Ghana boss was at various different levels with the national team.
This included every youth level from Under-16 to Under-20 before getting the senior job in 1991.
Queiroz lasted 19 games as boss and left in July 1993.
He was back in action that same December as one of the Lisbon giants appointed him.
There aren’t many managers currently in the game who have such a long and storied career as QueirozGettySporting decided to give Queiroz the biggest club job of his career, and he was in charge for 101 matches.
In that time, they claimed the Portuguese Super Cup and the Portuguese Cup but no league title.
Strangely, moves to the United States and Japan followed with the New Jersey Metrostars and Nagoya Grampus.
A few very short stints with The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and South Africa came after that.
From those managerial roles, he only took charge of ten games, all with South Africa.
Ferguson brought Queiroz in as assistant manager in 2002, and he remained at Old Trafford the first time until Real Madrid made a move for him.
They made Queiroz their manager to try and take on the Galaticos.
He had Luis Figo, Ronaldo, David Beckham, Raul and Iker Casillas, Roberto Carlos and Guti all in the same team.
It wasn’t the most successful stint with a Copa del Rey all he had to show for it, which as Real head coach with that team wasn’t enough.

Ferguson invited him back to Manchester United, and he spent eight years as his assistant.
In that time, there was a Champions League trophy and Premier League titles as well.
Portugal came calling once more, and he took them to the 2010 World Cup.
There they lost 1-0 to Spain in the round of 16, and he was sacked.
Iran were up next for Queiroz, and he spent eight years with the Middle East side taking them to three World Cups.
They didn’t make it out of the group stage at any point but each World Cup was another step forward for Iran’s football development.
The Qatar World Cup came during Queiroz’s second spell with Iran before departing soon after.
And before taking the Ghana job in April, he had brief spells with Egypt, Oman and Qatar.
