World Cup Pulse

Editorial Policy

World Cup Pulse is an automated FIFA World Cup 2026 news and data platform operated by VR Tech. This page explains how content is sourced, processed and corrected, so readers know exactly what they’re reading and where it comes from.

How stories are selected

  • We aggregate football news from a curated set of established sports publishers via their public RSS feeds, every few minutes, around the clock.
  • An automated classifier keeps only World Cup–relevant stories, tags each by topic (matches, teams, players, transfers, venues, fans), and removes duplicates and promotional content.
  • Selection and classification are algorithmic. We do not write or commission the aggregated news ourselves.

Attribution & fair use

  • For every aggregated story we display the original publisher’s name and a link back to the source article.
  • We show only a short, capped fair-use excerpt (roughly a couple of sentences) — never the full article body. To read the complete piece, follow the source link.
  • If you are a rights holder and want a story removed or amended, email us (below) and we will act promptly.

Translation

Headlines and summaries are machine-translated into our 13 languages. Translations are generated automatically and may contain errors; the original-language source is always linked. Article bodies are shown in their original language with a clear notice.

Predictions & data

  • Match forecasts are model estimates, not betting odds, produced by a transparent World-Football-Elo → Poisson model and graded publicly against real results. We do not provide betting tips, staking advice or gambling affiliate links.
  • Live scores and fixtures are synced from public match data and may lag or contain errors; the official source is authoritative.

Corrections

We aim to be accurate and to fix mistakes quickly. If you spot an error in a translation, score, statistic or attribution, email privacy@worldcuppulse.co and we’ll review and correct it.

Independence

World Cup Pulse is independent and not affiliated with FIFA or any team, competition, broadcaster or organizer. See our About page for more, or how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.
